Entry-Level Wealth Management Associate

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills for prospecting, client servicing and management.
  • Canadian Securities Course & Conduct and Practices handbook courses through CSI are preferred, however are not necessary and can be completed throughout the program.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 

Global Maxfin Capital Inc. is aggressively looking for qualified candidates who are passionate about working in the Canadian Financial Industry.  Through our comprehensive Wealth Management/Investment Advisor development program, you will be paired with a Senior Level Advisor from which you will gain valuable training, industry know-how, tools and resources for you to build your book of business and develop a client base for yourself. 

Our Investment Advisors are financial managers who have established relationships with multi-generational family accounts, business owners, individuals, charities and foundations based on personalized service and advice. Our clients fully entrust us with their financial assets to help them understand the various components of their planning while ensuring that they are meeting their defined life goals. As an Investment Advisor, you will be responsible for building a fully customized financial plan encompassing up to 11 different areas of Wealth Management, explaining and presenting your analysis and developing relationships with your clients so to provide an exceptional experience for them.

Listen & Understand:

 

As an Investment Advisor you will ask questions – lots of questions. The aim is to build a clear understanding of the client and their situation and to be able to understand their circumstance from their perspective.  This allows you to recommend the most appropriate way for clients to reach their goals. Only once we understand their situation from their shoes, can we think about solutions to suggest.

 

Analyze & Plan:

 

At this phase, you will be responsible for reviewing all of your client’s information including goals, needs, risk tolerance, income, tax and wealth situation, time horizon, liquidity and other important considerations. 

Our focus is on strategies and relevance, products and instruments can be selected as per solutions required.

 

Recommend and Communicate:

 

Meeting with clients to present a value proposition requires knowledge, experience and patience.  You will meet with clients to discuss investments details and relevant strategies for their financial. You’ll have an opportunity to re-confirm your client’s financial goals, needs and other information as well as go over any additional questions they may have.  Through this process, you will build lasting and referable relationships with your client base.
