Job Description

Title: Wholesaler – Investment Funds

Location: Richmond Hill – Head Office

Division: Global Growth Assets Inc. (“GGAI”)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


Job Summary:


You will be responsible for developing strategies to increase sales and actively promote GGAI investment products to corporate employers as well as mutual fund and investment dealers. You will build relationships with corporate employers and financial advisors for the purpose of introducing and promoting GGAI products. To be successful in this role, you must be able to differentiate GGAI investment products from similar products offered by other investment managers and you must be able to represent GGAI investment directly to both corporate executives and retail level advisors. This position requires exceptional presentation skills and a polished, professional demeanor.


Core Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Plan, lead and drive sales to achieve and surpass targeted sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of GGAI products, themes, initiatives, strategies, and policies;
  • Liaise with marketing to develop literature for promoting products;
  • Grow and cultivate relationships with GGAIs approved dealers and platform partners;
  • Develop a productive working relationship with prospects, clients and stakeholders;
  • Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements;
  • Represent GGAI as needed at conferences and events;
  • Deliver presentations and other public speaking for groups or individual sales presentations;
  • Perform (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual) provincial sales and asset reporting
  • Provide feedback to management on product demand, sales trends and client satisfaction;
  • Contribute and execute on sales and business development strategy;
  • Other duties, as determined by the CEO.


  • University Degree in Finance or Economics;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the securities industry;
  • Prior experience as a wholesaler or experience in another similar advisor/client-facing role;
  • Sound knowledge of investment products (e.g. mutual funds, ETFs, etc.) and the investment industry;
  • Ability to answer questions from industry professionals such as questions about rates of return, risk and investment style;
  • Completion of industry related courses such CSC and CIFC

  • Demonstrated ability to persuade and negotiate through consultation and active listening skills;
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills required to build relationships with financial advisors and dealers;
  • Aptitude for technological advancements as a way to improve efficiencies and effectiveness;
  • Knowledgeable on the current industry landscape and competitors with an ability to be innovative in sales strategies, marketing concepts and product applications;
  • Willingness to become an expert in Wealth Management solutions and strategies through leadership and a strong sense of self awareness
